Has a degree in History from Universidade Federal Fluminense (1996), a Master’s in History from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (1998), and a Doctorate in Social History from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2005), with a doctoral internship in University of Essex (2004).
Has experience in the area of History, with an emphasis on the History of Republican Brazil and the Teaching of History, mainly working with the following themes: Brazilian cultural policy, memory, and popular culture.
