  • SDGs 2-4-5 in the Scientific Production of UERJ-FEBF (Duque de Caxias) and USP-EACH (Leste): Peripheries and the 2030 Agenda

Period: 2020 – Present

This project aligns, adapts, and establishes pragmatic and subjective parameters inherent to the involved institutions (UERJ-FEBF in Duque de Caxias; PPGEDUC in Nova Iguaçu; and USP-EACH-Leste) to determine whether their internal academic production (courses and ongoing research) addresses and/or promotes three of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Eradication of Hunger (SDG-2); Quality Education (SDG-4); and Gender Equality (SDG-5). While each SDG has broad implications, their assessment at a localized scale facilitates their dissemination, the identification of specific challenges, and the search for theoretical and practical solutions to the related issues.
Funding: FAPERJ

Start Date: 2019 – Ongoing
