Professor, Department of History, Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ).

Has a degree in History from Universidade Federal Fluminense (2004), a Master’s in Social History from the same institution (2007), and a Doctorate in History also from UFF (2012). Did Post-Doctoral research in PUC-SP.

CNPq Researcher with a Productivity Fellowship and a Young Scientist of Our State Fellow (FAPERJ).

In 2015, won the Jabuti award in the area of Economics for the book Estranhas Catedrais: as empreiteiras brasileiras e a ditadura civil-militar (1964-1988) (Eduff, 2014).

One of the coordinators of LEHI (Laboratory of Economics and History of UFRRJ), part of the Employers and Dictatorship in Brazil Research Group (GTEDB) and NECAP (Study Group of Capitalism, Power, and Social Struggles of UFRRJ).

Areas of interest: Economic and Social History; History of Brazil after 1964; State and public policies; History of Imperial Brazil; History of Brazilian foreign policy.
