Has a degree in Philosophy from Escola Teológica da Congregação Beneditina do Brasil (1992), a degree in History from Universidade Federal Fluminense (1992), a Master’s in History from Universidade Federal Fluminense (1998), and a Doctorate in Philosophy with a Multidisciplinary focus on Ancient History Classical Philology and Romanic Literature from Rheinische Friedrich Wilhelms Universität Bonn (2002). Did Post-Doctoral studies in Fondazione per le Scienze Religiose Giovanni XXIII, FSCIRE, Italy (2019-2020) and Rheinische Friedrich Wilhelms Universität Bonn, R.F.W.U., Germany (2012-2013).

Has experience in the area of History, with an emphasis on Archaic and Classical Greek History, working with the following themes: philosophy, religion, Ancient and Medieval History and History.
