Associate Professor of Ancient and Medieval History, Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ).

Has a degree (2000), Master’s (2002), and Doctorate in History (2007) from Universidade Federal Fluminense.

Leader of Linhas (Narratives and Medievalisms Study Group) and had a National Library Residency Research Program scholarship (2016).

Has experience in teaching and research in the area of Medieval History, with an emphasis on Portugal, religiosity, relations of power, and narrative studies.

Areas of interest: Portuguese Middle Ages, History of Culture in the Medieval West, History of Medieval Christianity, Medieval and Late Medieval Narratives.
