Adjunct Professor of the Tourism course at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ). Professor/researcher and permanent member of Line III of the Graduate Program in Education, Contemporary Contexts, and Popular Demands (PPGEduc) at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro. Holds a Ph.D. in Education, Contemporary Contexts, and Popular Demands from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (2019), a Master’s degree in Tourism and Environment from UNA – Belo Horizonte (2009), and a Master’s degree in Management of Activities and Tourism Resources from the Universitat de les Illes Balears – UIB in Palma de Mallorca, Spain (2003). Earned a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism from Newton Paiva University Center (1982). Leader of the Study and Research Group on Tourism and Ethnic-Racial Relations – GPETURER. Member of the Laboratory of Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous Studies – LEAFRO/NEABI/UFRRJ, the Tourism Study and Research Center at UFRRJ – NEPET, and the Affirmative Action Policies Observatory of the Southeast Region – OPAAS, with publications in the areas of Ethnic-Racial Relations, Affirmative Action Policies, and Brazilian Education. His experience spans the fields of Tourism, Education, Ethnic-Racial Relations, affirmative actions, higher education, education on ethnic-racial relations, teacher training, and Law 10.639/2003.
