The process of creation and development of the Postgraduate Program in Organic Agriculture is considered relevant, with the offer of the Master in Organic Agriculture in the professional modality, a fact that consolidated regional and national demands in the area of ​​Organic Agriculture, in view of the social impact and the geographic location of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazilian public higher education, and of the partner institutions Embrapa Agrobiologia and Pesagro-Rio, recognized for their technical-scientific protagonism and social inclusion.

It should also be noted that the Professional Master’s Course in Organic Agriculture offered by the PPGAO is the only one in the country, which is also an incentive to seek continuous improvement and overcoming to advance in its educational proposal. Given the above, the PPGAO Pedagogical Project was developed in the 2021 version with significant mobilization of teachers and coordination.

In this context, here is the Pedagogical Project of the Graduate Program in Organic Agriculture
