THE GRADUATE PROGRAM IN ORGANIC AGRICULTURE does not have scholarship quotas from the Social Demand Program – DS or any other modality; therefore, it does not have support from the Postgraduate Support Program (Proap) Capes .

In this context, UFRRJ and the partner institutions in the PPGAO, Embrapa Agrobiologia and Pesagro-Rio, guarantee the administrative, teaching and research infrastructure, with academic and administrative space for the course at the Training Center in Agroecology and Organic Agriculture in the Fazendinha Agroecológica km 47 and at the Institute of Agronomy at UFRRJ.

In addition, external resources are raised in public notices from development agencies. In this sense, the PPGAO was contemplated in the notices of Support for Stricto Sensu Graduate Programs and Courses of the State of Rio de Janeiro of the Carlos Chagas Filho Foundation for Research Support of the State of Rio de Janeiro – FAPERJ with resources for the acquisition of consumables and third-party services (individuals and legal entities).
