The PPGEQ Students are required to take a total of 375 hours of modules for their course, consisting of 180 hours of compulsory modules and 105 hours of elective modules over 2 terms during the first year of the course, and 45 hours in Seminar I and 45 hours in Seminar II over the second year of the course.

The compulsory modules are divided into 2 groups, each containing a specific set of subjects that are suited to the student’s academic background:

• Students majoring in Chemical Engineering will take the compulsory modules from GROUP A,
• Students majoring in other Engineering subjects and other fields of knowledge will take compulsory modules from GROUP B.
• Exceptional cases will be analyzed by the PPGEQ Board.
• Elective modules will be selected with the help of an advisor and must be related to the research topic the student is pursuing.
