International applicants who are not residents of Brazil and wish to join our graduate program are encouraged to first review our research areas. After identifying a relevant line of interest, they should contact one of our accredited supervisors to explore the possibility of academic supervision and scholarship opportunities.

Once a supervisor has provided a formal letter of acceptance, applicants may proceed to contact the program directly via email (ppgcv@ufrrj.br), attaching a copy of their Curriculum Vitae.

Applications from international students are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.
