The PPGCAF’s mission is to contribute to the development and advancement of the forest science in Brazil and abroad, providing high academic standards organized in three areas of specialization: a) Science and Technology of Forest Products; (b) Conservation of Nature; c) Forestry. Specifically, PPGCAF aims to empower students to work in teaching, research, and extension; support the realization and publication of scientific research conducted by the faculty members and students of the program; contribute to the solution of current and emerging problems within the scope of the forest science; promote exchanges with national and international institutions; support and participate in activities that promote social inclusion through environmentally sustainable practices.
