Published: Responsabilidade penal, prova e regulação em diálogo internacional: reflexões sobre o pensamento de Paulo de Sousa Mendes
The coordinator of the PPGD published a contribution in the international volume “Criminal Liability, Evidence, and Regulation in International Dialogue: Reflections on the Thought of Paulo de Sousa Mendes,” edited by Prof. Dr. Kai Ambos (University of Göttingen), Prof. Dr. Luís Greco (University of Berlin), and Prof. Dr. Rui Costa (University of Lisbon) in honor of the retirement of University of Lisbon Professor, Prof. Dr. Paulo de Sousa Mendes.
The volume features dozens of articles by professors from different countries who, over the course of decades, have engaged in a fruitful scientific and intellectual exchange with Prof. Dr. Paulo de Sousa Mendes. Prof. Dr. José Danilo Tavares Lobato contributed to the volume with a study titled: Notes on Sousa Mendes’s Thought Regarding the Criminal Liability of Legal Persons.
It is worth recalling that Prof. Dr. Paulo de Sousa Mendes visited UFRRJ, at the PAT on the Seropédica campus, for an event organized by our coordinator on November 25, 2013, and delivered the lecture: A Semantic Model of Causation Representation and the Need for Logical-Legal Criteria in the Attribution of Causality.
