Objectives
- Promote the production of knowledge in the field of psychology, focusing on the development of the Baixada Fluminense region and its surroundings, which suffer from a significant lack of specialized academic training in this area;
- Expand research in the field of psychology by encouraging exchanges between local research groups and research groups based in Brazil and abroad;
- Strengthen public and high-quality postgraduate education offered in the State of Rio de Janeiro, particularly by introducing this mode of education in a region farther from the urban center, aiming to adequately meet social demands while refining theoretical and methodological models.
