The Master’s Program in Mathematical and Computational Modeling at UFRRJ (MMC-UFRRJ) is classified by CAPES with concept 3 and began its activities in April 2012. The Program is composed of permanent professors and collaborators from 6 departments of UFRRJ: In Seropédica – DEMAT, DEQUIM, DEFIS, Solos and DCOMP. In Nova Iguaçu – DTL.
The GPMCM (Graduate Program in Mathematical and Computational Modeling) focuses on three Research Lines:
-Socio-Economic and Environmental Demands in Rural and Urban Areas;
-Agromodeling and Environment;
-Biomathematics (public health models, pharmaceuticals, population analysis, computational neuroscience, etc).
Classified by CAPES as an interdisciplinary program, it graduates students with the title of Master of Science in the area of concentration of Mathematical and Computational Modeling.
