The PPGGEO is located in the Geosciences Department on the Serop\u00e9dica campus. There are two ways to reach Serop\u00e9dica when leaving from the city of Rio de Janeiro or Niter\u00f3i: Avenida Brasil\/former Estrada Rio-S\u00e3o Paulo or Rodovia Presidente Dutra.<\/p>\n

By car<\/strong><\/p>\n

Option 1: Along Avenida Brasil towards Zona Oeste, when you see the Viaduto Oscar Brito (also known as Cabritos) turn right (BRAHMA Factory). Follow the former Estrada Rio-S\u00e3o Paulo to KM 47 (UFRRJ).<\/p>\n

Option 2: Along Rodovia Presidente Dutra towards Rio-S\u00e3o Paulo, after the Vi\u00fava Gra\u00e7a Toll Booth, turn right at the first exit; go straight on until UFRRJ (approximately 5 km).<\/p>\n

Option 3: Along Rodovia Presidente Dutra towards Rio-S\u00e3o Paulo, after the BOB\u2019S (BELVEDERE) take the first exit on the right, go straight until UFRRJ (approximately 5 km).<\/p>\n

By bus or train<\/strong><\/p>\n

Option 1: Use the Central-Serop\u00e9dica or Castelo-Serop\u00e9dica buses of Via\u00e7\u00e3o Real Rio; the first one leaves the Am\u00e9rico Fontenele terminal in the Central do Brasil, and the second leaves the Menezes Cortes terminal, in Castelo.<\/p>\n

Option 2: Take the train from D. Pedro II (Central do Brasil) station. In this case, get off at Campo Grande and take one of the following buses near the 1st<\/sup> train station (Rua Campo Grande) from the Real Rio bus company: Campo Grande-Belvedere, Campo Grande-Paracambi or Campo Grande-Japeri.<\/p>\n

Option 3: Take the bus at Novo Rio bus station bound for some cities in the south of the state, through the Rodovia Presidente Dutra. For this route, follow the same directions, provided below for those descending at Belvedere Vi\u00fava Gra\u00e7a.<\/p>\n

Coming from the southern part of the state or from S\u00e3o Paulo, get off at Belvedere Vi\u00fava Gra\u00e7a on Rodovia Presidente Dutra and take the bus on one of the following lines: Belvedere-Campo Grande, Belvedere-Itagua\u00ed, Paracambi-Campo Grande, Japeri-Campo Grande.<\/p>\n
