Linha 2 – Ontologia, conhecimento e linguagem

Bachelor and Full Degree in Philosophy at the UERJ/Brazil (2001-2006); MSc (2009-2010) and PhD (2011-2013) in Philosophy at the PUC-Rio/Brazil; Incomplete degree in Portuguese-Greek Letters at the UERJ/Brazil (2011-2013). Post-Doctorate in Philosophy at the University of Kent/UK (2015). Nowadays he is completing the PhD in Linguistics at the UFJF/Brazil (2018-). He was professor of History of Classic and Hellenistic Philosophy at the UFS/Brazil (2013-2019). He currently is Professor of Metaphysics at the UFRRJ/Brazil (2019-). His main concerns are Greek-Portuguese translations of primary sources on Hellenistic and Late Ancient Philosophy, mainly Pyrrhonian Scepticism and Stoicism. With Rafael Huguenin, he published translations of Sextus Empiricus? works (Contra os Retóricos, 2013; Contra os Gramáticos, 2015; Contra os Astrólogos, 2019), all them by the EdUNESP/Brazil.
