Project: Real-Time Drilling Diagnostic Program (PWDa)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Project Originators: Engineering Simulation and Scientific Software Ltda (ESSS); Mid-Eastern Unified Higher Education (UCL), Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ); Federal Technological University of Paran\u00e1 (UTFPR); Petrobras<\/p>\n

Project Description: The PWDa project was designed to implement an automated data interpretation program from sensors installed in drilling systems in order to immediately detect signs that could indicate unwanted situations so that immediate corrective or preventive actions can be taken. This is the first software to be developed in the country featuring transient calculation models for real-time analysis of possible operational problems when well drilling, providing support to the decision-making process through an automated data analysis methodology using quantitative criteria, removing the subjective part of interpreting and identifying the events.<\/p>\n
