O laborat\u00f3rio tem por objetivo utilizar m\u00e9todos de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica que possam permitir o desenvolvimento de abordagens terap\u00eauticas para minimizar ou prevenir o estabelecimento de condi\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e1lgicas e inflamat\u00f3rias, atrav\u00e9s da busca por alvos farmacol\u00f3gicos e por mol\u00e9culas naturais ou sint\u00e9ticas analg\u00e9sicas e\/ou anti-inflamat\u00f3rias. O laborat\u00f3rio disp\u00f5e de infraestrutura para realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de modelos algesim\u00e9tricos e inflamat\u00f3rios <em>in vivo<\/em> e tamb\u00e9m an\u00e1lises <em>ex vivo<\/em> e <em>in vitro<\/em> atrav\u00e9s de imunoensaios (ELISA e Multiplex), <em>Western blot<\/em>, imunohistoqu\u00edmica e RT-PCR.
