A import\u00e2ncia da pandemia para o turismo n\u00e3o tem precedentes e a comunidade cient\u00edfica tem obriga\u00e7\u00e3o de contribuir para o conhecimento sobre o tema. Desta forma, considerada a urg\u00eancia do assunto, artigos sobre turismo e COVID-19 recebidos at\u00e9 31 de julho ser\u00e3o processados com celeridade especial e publicados imediatamente ap\u00f3s o t\u00e9rmino do processo editorial, n\u00e3o ingressando na fila regular de artigos para publica\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>As abordagens, perspectivas e enfoques esperados sobre as rela\u00e7\u00f5es entre turismo e COVID-19 s\u00e3o as mais diversas poss\u00edveis, desde que sejam atendidos os requisitos usuais de qualidade cient\u00edfica. Logo, a chamada de artigos est\u00e1 aberta \u00e0 criatividade das pesquisadoras e pesquisadores. N\u00e3o h\u00e1 defini\u00e7\u00e3o a priori de quais tipos de contribui\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00e3o de interesse.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>No entanto, j\u00e1 \u00e9 poss\u00edvel prever tr\u00eas tipos de artigos que n\u00e3o satisfazem os requisitos para publica\u00e7\u00e3o na RBTUR. Em primeiro lugar, n\u00e3o s\u00e3o esperados artigos que descrevam os impactos da epidemia exclusivamente a partir de informa\u00e7\u00f5es da imprensa ou outros documentos abertos ao p\u00fablico. Tamb\u00e9m n\u00e3o s\u00e3o esperados artigos que reportem pesquisas aplicadas buscando exclusivamente prever o comportamento dos consumidores, organiza\u00e7\u00f5es ou destinos ap\u00f3s a epidemia. Por fim, para esta chamada n\u00e3o s\u00e3o desejados ensaios te\u00f3ricos, especialmente em raz\u00e3o do pequeno distanciamento poss\u00edvel neste momento.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Desta forma, os artigos submetidos devem contribuir para a amplia\u00e7\u00e3o do conhecimento j\u00e1 existente por meio de informa\u00e7\u00f5es e ideias inovadoras e consistentes e que apresentem grande potencial de impacto cient\u00edfico e aplicado. Cabe destacar que a RBTUR n\u00e3o estabelece um limite m\u00ednimo de palavras para os artigos submetidos. Desta forma, os artigos submetidos a esta chamada podem ser curtos, tendo algo entre 2 mil e 5 mil palavras. O limite m\u00e1ximo de 10 mil palavras ser\u00e1 mantido.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Mais do que nunca, a import\u00e2ncia da publica\u00e7\u00e3o de dados abertos \u00e9 destacada neste momento como forma de favorecer o r\u00e1pido crescimento do conhecimento e dos impactos da pesquisa.
