Com duas publica\u00e7\u00f5es nesta revista, ambos os artigos s\u00e3o frutos de sua tese\u00a0de doutorado, defendida em 2018 pelo Programa de P\u00f3s-Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Sistemas de Gest\u00e3o Sustent\u00e1veis da UFF.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>O primeiro artigo foi publicado em 2017 &#8211;\u00a0<i>Sustainability and hotel business: criteria for holistic, integrated and\u00a0participative development<\/i>. Basicamente este trabalho exp\u00f5e a necessidade de pensarmos as gest\u00f5es tur\u00edsticas sustent\u00e1veis para al\u00e9m do prisma ambiental, propondo a\u00e7\u00f5es que tamb\u00e9m abarquem as dimens\u00f5es sociais, culturais, econ\u00f4micas e pol\u00edticas. Para tanto, com auxilio de relat\u00f3rios internacionais que tratam estes temas, 66 crit\u00e9rios iniciais foram elaborados para auxiliar a condu\u00e7\u00e3o de pr\u00e1ticas hoteleiras mais sustent\u00e1veis. Como perspectiva futura, deixa em aberto a necessidade de valida\u00e7\u00e3o dos crit\u00e9rios supracitados.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>E \u00e9 exatamente neste ponto que o segundo artigo se edifica. Publicado agora em 2020, o mesmo foi assim intitulado: <em>Criteria for assessing a sustainable hotel business<\/em>. Atrav\u00e9s da aplica\u00e7\u00e3o de um question\u00e1rio (respondido por 177 participantes), os 66 crit\u00e9rios iniciais foram avaliados. Destaca-se o fato de este p\u00fablico ser divididos em \u00e2mbitos nacionais (153) e internacionais (24). Por meio de suas percep\u00e7\u00f5es e com o aux\u00edlio de uma an\u00e1lise fatorial confirmat\u00f3ria, 39 crit\u00e9rios foram validados.
