O \u201cPET-Floresta\u201d, que teve in\u00edcio em 2010 na UFRRJ, tem como objetivo principal aprimorar a forma\u00e7\u00e3o dos alunos de Engenharia Florestal da UFRRJ, por meio da participa\u00e7\u00e3o, planejamento, organiza\u00e7\u00e3o, e condu\u00e7\u00e3o de atividades de pesquisa, ensino e extens\u00e3o, que contemplem o tema florestal e conceitos de sustentabilidade vinculados \u00e0s grandes \u00e1reas do curso: Silvicultura, Manejo Florestal, Conserva\u00e7\u00e3o da Natureza e Tecnologia de Produtos Florestais. Al\u00e9m disso, o PET \u2013 Floresta tem como premissa b\u00e1sica o trabalho em equipe, cujo objetivo \u00e9 contribuir para o desenvolvimento pessoal e profissional dos alunos da engenharia florestal que integram o grupo. Aprender a trabalhar em equil\u00edbrio com pessoas diferentes \u00e9 sempre um grande desafio, que vem sendo alcan\u00e7ado com \u00eaxito pelo grupo. Todas as atividades s\u00e3o desenvolvidas de forma construtiva e coletiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
